Slow Flow Yoga

This class is a blend of Hatha and Vinyasa, meaning poses will flow together at a slower pace to give you time to connect to your breath and find your alignment in each asana. Modifications and props will be available throughout class. All levels are encouraged to attend!

Power Practice

A dynamic form of hatha yoga that focuses on breath and movement, awareness and alignment. This class encourages an energetic flow through creative sequencing, enlivening the body and spirit! Challenge yourself with this power practice that incorporates strength and balance poses with flows that increase the heart rate.

Restorative Yoga

Center your breath and body. Align the physical and mental with this slow flow practice that focuses on moving with the breath. Take time to undo stress and nurture your body, mind and spirit. Props may be used to assist in helping you hold poses longer.

Experience the benefits of breath linked movement sequenced with long held restorative postures that will allow your muscles to relax, your heart rate to lower and your nervous system to let go.

Flexibility Technique

Flexibility is one of the key aspects of all aerial arts. The ability to expand your body’s range of motion takes a lot of time and effort, but also focused technique to do it properly. This class will cover a range of flexibility training methods to help you discover your body’s custom flexibility routine by combining passive (holding flexible positions assisted by floor, fabrics…etc.) and active flexibility (the ability to use your muscles to hold flexible positions unassisted). Increase movement, expand your range of motion and enhance fluidity in your dance using flexibility techniques.

Please come to class with lots of water, layers to stay warm, and an understanding that flexibility success cannot be achieved with merely once-a-week efforts. Studio and home training are crucial for the achievement of your goals.
